2009 is kicking off to a great start for the Cove! Our 'Wish I Was Dead' music video has been chosen as an Official Finalist at the 2009 Canada International Film Festival. The Cove is especially excited as this piece of news has arrived on the eve of the Cove's premiere screening on the big stage at the Festivus Film Festival in Denver, Colorado tomorrow, January 10!
The Cove, and our production company, Back River Endeavor, LLC, as well as our partner and Cove friend, Ondrej Rudavsky, who directed and animated the video, are honored by the Canada International Film Festival's decision to award us the title of Official Finalist. In addition to the Official Feature Selections, a maximum of only 20 films in each competitive category were selected at Official Finalists from well over 1000 films submitted worldwide.
The Cove have been invited out to Vancouver, British Columbia, February 7-8, 2009 to receive the Official Finalist Award Certificate at the Closing Awards Ceremony. Rumor has it that Sammi might fly Theodore out there and both may make an appearance…
